Planet Golf Wraps Up Pilot Episode In Cyprus

Channel 2020 kicked off the month with a challenging four day shoot in Cyprus that involved 14 hour shooting schedules for its crew members. 

This was the first shoot of six for Planet Golf – 2020′s new golf series that airs around the world in 2012. Faced with the task of showing the very best in Cypriot golf, culture, tourism, and nightlife (all in 4 days!), 2020′s determined crew led by Rob Potter and Chris O’Brien demonstrated that hard work really does pay off. The result? An amazing eight hours of footage that now needs to be condensed into a 23 minute show.

We travelled to some of the most breathtaking spots on the island, including the Elea Golf Club , designed by Sir Nick Faldo, and Aphrodite’s Rock, where the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born.
